A track rod is the connection between the steering lever and the pivot point on the wheel and is thus part of the steering knuckle. A track rod consists of two joints and a connecting rod made of metal. On a shaft are two track rods installed in which the control lever is located in the middle in the Rule. The track rod is used to set the track on opening the clamps and twisting the rod to the length change and the subsequent fixing of the clamps on the threaded stud. In the case of two threaded ends the thread is a right-hand thread, the other a left-hand thread to enable the adjustment of the track per rotation and change in length of the steering arm with no need to remove one of the joints.
