Top Expansion Valve Brands
An expansion valve is a throttle device, which decreases the pressure of the flowing fluid by a local constriction of the flow cross-section and thus causes a volume increase or expansion. Cause of this increase in volume may be the expansion of a gas or an evaporating liquid. The working fluid usually occurs as a nearly boiling liquid in the expansion valve and undergoes a change of state. During passage through the expansion valve a part of the fluid evaporates, while the other part remains in liquid state. The working fluid then passes into the evaporator where the remaining liquid portion absorbs heat from the environment and so realizes the actual value of the air conditioner.
