The braking force control is a control valve for the rear axle brake. It is used in hydraulic and pneumatic brake systems and depending on the version it can control the brake pressure dynamic or static. During braking of a motor vehicle, the vehicle weight is shifted from the rear axle to the front axle (dynamic axle load shift). As a result, the rear wheels have less grip and it can lead to blocking of the rear axle. The over braking of the rear brakes leads to skidding. This prevents the regulator by reducing the brake pressure on the rear axle. Depending on the vehicle type, different brake controller can be used. Stress reducer with fixed cut-off leaving only a certain pressure to the rear axle (eg max.34 bar). Load sensing valve control depending on the load condition of the rear axle a variable brake pressure to the rear axle.
