The propeller shaft typically connects the rear axle of a motor vehicle with the front drive which is arranged. This allows you to move the drive to the rear axle or construct a four-wheel drive. The propeller shaft with universal joints or flexible couplings is mounted at both ends to the posts. The propeller shaft offers many advantages over the drive chain. Accordingly less maintenance is needed and the distance between the two shaft ends can be changed during the rotation. Thus, for example, moving the position of the drive shaft with the differential gear unit to change the kinematics of the chassis of a vehicle. For this reason, the necessary length compensation in the propeller shaft is made possible with a sliding piece.
